The Slim Light Box is a versatile solution that helps astroimagers when taking flat fields. No more big and heavy box on your telescope!
The Slim Light Box is less than 1" thick and is just a little larger than the dew shield or the aperture of a telescope. The SLB is built with light materials, the design allow to take flat fields in every condition range, i.e. even when the telescope is horizontally positioned, etc.
The Slim Light Box only requires to be powered with an external (not included) 12 Volt power supply. The light intensity can be modified by the user for a correct flat field adu level, fitting well to the sensibility of most ccd/dslr cameras on the market. As optional we offer a various range of adapter rings that reduce the SLB diameter to a smaller size. Below are some product examples:
