The Very Small Telescope is the first 2" Ritchey-Chrétien acrylic replica. Details are finely realised on black and trasparent acrylic giving to the product an elegant design.
Mirrors are reflective but not for a real astronomical use, primary mirror cell is collimable. The main tube assembly is placed on a equatorial mount and a solid pier mounting. The Very Small Telescope is fully movable in right ascension, declination, azimut and altitude, pier arms height can be changed.
Every parts is completely handcrafted starting from solid material, such as trasparent acrylic and alluminium, socket stainless screws are used to assemble the parts and minimazing the use of glue. The Very Small Telescope is approximately 12 inches in heigh.
It makes an excellent gift for the astroimagers or it could stand over your working desk. Soon will be released new configurations and accessories. Below are some detailed images of the VST.
